At Scarborough Youth Football, our mission is to create a positive and enriching environment where young athletes, from Kindergarten through 8th grade, can learn the game of football while growing as individuals. We believe that sports can be a powerful tool for teaching life lessons, and we’re committed to helping each player reach their personal goals both on and off the field.

Our program is built on the values of sportsmanship, honesty, courage, loyalty, and respect for oneself, for teammates, and for the game. We aim to give every child the opportunity to succeed, to feel confident, and to develop a “can-do” attitude that will serve them well as they prepare for the challenges of Maine Class A high school football.

We don’t measure success by wins alone. Instead, we focus on building character, fostering teamwork, and creating memorable experiences. Our guiding principles are:

• Safety: We prioritize the well-being of every player through proper conditioning, mental preparation, and ensuring they are always fully and safely equipped.
• Fun: We celebrate the joy of the game, encouraging camaraderie and teamwork while embracing the natural energy and enthusiasm of our young athletes.
• Success: We strive for growth and achievement in every practice and take pride in honorable victories earned through effort, discipline, and heart.
